White Christmas

And by white, I mean the button-down. We’ve had an unusual amount of rain lately in Minnesota, making for a very un-white Christmas.  It’s a bummer in some ways, but it was nice for ease of holiday shopping and travel these last few days. For this holiday look, I paired a simple white button-down shirt with a full black skirt and brightly colored accessories.

Reality Check. It’s hard for me to use the phrase “holiday look” since for the most part that means a cozy shirt, yoga pants and hair in a pony tail. But “what I wear to my kid’s holiday program and change out of four seconds after getting home” is just so much more awkward.

Wishing you and yours the very best this holiday season! And if Santa came to your house last night, I hope the kids are all giddy and the parents are able to steal a nap at some point today.

    Merry Christmas, Kerry!
I so enjoy your blog~~~~the recipes in particular!
Since I’ve known your family for a long time, it is fun to read your blog. Your Grandma Alice and I were in our church “Circle” for at least 30 years (also known as Bible Study).

Thanks so much for the kind note, Andrea! My family was at our house today and we were looking at some pictures from year’s past at Grandma Alice’s house. (: I hope you had a wonderful day as well, and thank you so much for your support – it means a lot to me!
