Marsala has been tagged a hot color for 2015, which wasn’t top of mind when I purchased these pants (which while perhaps not right on point with the hue, are certainly in the family). I just loved the comfortable style and was limited in color options available at the time I ordered. I personally find the deeper, red-brown tones harder to work with for an outfit compared to, for example, the bright cherry reds of summer. I do love the white, black and charcoal combo through – with anything really, but particularly when set off by a dark red. No doubt the fashion options for marsala will explode in the coming months, so we’ll see if any other things make it into my closet.

Reality Check. This was the ice fishing day at the cabin (link to post here) and Trevor was hot to trot. He’s such a good sport about taking pictures. Almost always. On this particular day he could not take these pictures fast enough and I’m lucky that he even focused the shots, let alone got a few of them I could use.
