You may have read a past post a few weeks ago where I expressed frustration over loving the look of layering on top of a button-down shirt, but hating the feel. The perfect solution? When a dress does the layering for you, and eliminates the bulk. I love this dress in that it’s super comfortable (the top feels like a t-shirt) but still has a sense of polish to it, especially with the accompanying slip and the added length to the back.
Anthropologie dress | J Crew shoes (old, but love this season’s gold sandal) and earrings (similar here) | Tory Burch handbag (similar here) | Anthropologie cuff (sold out, similar style and price point here) | Banana Republic necklace | Kate Spade sunglasses
Reality Check. You can’t beat the ease and convenience of the built-in layering with this dress, but I can’t help but feel like I’m wearing some sort of reverse dickie.
